We use one cookie, only to keep you signed in. No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and no cookies from other companies.
The cookie we use
| Name | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
__Secure-rp.session_token | Keeps you signed in to the resume builder. Set only when you sign in; it cannot be read by scripts and is only sent over encrypted connections. | 7 days, renewed while you use the builder; removed when you sign out |
This cookie is strictly necessary for signing in, so it does not need your consent. If you never sign in, no cookie is set. The marketing website sets no cookies for visitors.
Storage in your browser
The builder also uses your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device and is not sent to us:
- your draft resume, if you use the builder without an account;
- a safety copy of unsaved changes if your connection drops while editing a saved resume;
- whether you prefer a grid or list on My resumes;
- a short-lived copy of the resume you are saving as a PDF, removed as soon as the print page opens.
Your choices
You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. If you block cookies for app.resumeplustools.com, you will not be able to sign in, but you can still build and download a resume without an account. Clearing site data also deletes a draft saved in your browser, so download it first.
